The Woolworth Building, a historic Art Deco Moderne property that has long-anchored the streets of Clarendon, found renewed life in 2000 as the Clarendon Ballroom.  Run-down and under-used, the complex underwent a $2 million dollar modernization to emerge as one of the areas most unique event venues. The refurbishing of the original maple wood floors, the pressed-tin ceiling, and the crown molding brought the building back to its 1930s glow. By adding the Rooftop Pavilion, an 80-foot long Brazilian cherry wood bar in the Main Ballroom, and a cozy lounge on the bottom level, the Ballroom's value as a unique property for every kind of special event was secured.
